Furbank bursts over to give England early lead but Van der Merwe levels

Visitors take charge either side of half-time with Smith and Sinkler scores

Substitute Nick Tompkins' late try secured a 20-17 victory for Wales over Scotland at Principality Stadium to give Warren Gatland's side a record 13th Six Nations title.

Scotland had trailed 10-3 at half-time after tries from Wales wing Alex Cuthbert and Scotland back-rower Matt Fagerson, while fly-half Dan Biggar kicked a conversion and penalty.

Centre Mark Bennett crossed early in the second period to put Scotland ahead, but wing Josh Adams' score and Biggar's conversion restored Wales' lead.

Replacement Stuart Hogg's 76th-minute try looked to have earned Scotland a draw but Tompkins went over in the left corner two minutes later as Wales snatched victory at the death.
